You can perform a Divine Beast Resonation by pressing the Square and X buttons on your Dualshock or X and A on your Xbox. A summoned Divine Beast cannot be neutralized by the Five Phases Affinities. The Divine Beast will perform an attack that will strike any nearby enemies. Once you have your Divine Beast equipped, you can summon them in battle by pressing the Triangle and Circle button concurrently on your DualShock controller or the Y and B button on your Xbox controller. There's a Divine Beast Gauge you must fill before you can summon any of your beastly friends.
You can only have Divine Beast set at a time. After selecting Battle Preparations, there's the Set Divine Beast option where you can switch out your Beasts.
In the Battle Flag Menu, head to Battle Preparations. You can equip one of the Divine Beasts by resting at a Battle Flag. The first Divine Beast you gain is Qilin in the Two Chivalrous Heroes. Each Divine Beast is matched to one of the Five Phases (or Five Virtues) and can use the power of their respective element. Your Nameless Warrior is capable of summoning these Divine Beasts through the Jade emblem that the Blind Boy handed to you at the beginning of the game. Divine Beasts are heavenly creatures bestowed with the power of holy light.
